Budibase raises €7m for web app builder platform

Northern Ireland firm has 50,000 companies using its software, including Tesla, Netflix and Google

Budibase, a Belfast-based software company that has developed an open-source low-code platform for building internal applications in minutes, has secured $7 million (€7.04 million) from backers.

More than 50,000 companies currently use Budibase’s platform. Among them are household names such as Netflix, Tesla, Google, Disney and Louis Vuitton.

Budibase allows users to connect to external data sources such as Oracle, Google Sheets and Airtable, and to develop internal tools quickly.
