Vodafone Ireland chief executive Anne O'Leary is to leave the company in September to take up a senior role with Facebook parent, Meta.

O'Leary, who has led Vodafone Ireland since February 2013, is to take up the position of vice-president of the small and medium business division for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for the social media giant.
