There was a fashion back in the 1990s for having almost no brows at all: just a thin line that sat over your eyes. This was a trend that, sadly for me as a teenager, I embraced whole-heartedly. Once I had purchased a set of tweezers from our local chemist, I arrived home and, without the slightest clue what I was doing, proceeded to tweeze off most of my brows.
