A chance meeting with an Irish emigrant living in Canada set Townapps on the path to expansion overseas.

The Westmeath company creates mobile apps for various locations with information on events, restaurants, shops, places to stay and more. The idea is to give users a “town in the palm of their hand”, in the words of Townapps founder Joe Connaughton.
