Surge in demand for Irish-founded firm's electric bikes

Modmo has secured 800 pre-orders for its newest model, which is currently being fine-tuned at its factory in Vietnam

Modmo, an Irish-founded bike developer, has secured 800 pre-orders for its new electric bike product.

The company, founded by Jack O’Sullivan, has developed an electric bike that has a range of more than 200 kilometres. The company launched the pre-sales offer for its e-bike earlier this year, with orders now surpassing the 800 mark.

O’Sullivan told the Business Post that the company ran an initial €2,000 pre-order offer, but had since increased the price to €2,300....
