Frozen yogurt firm to raise cool €1m for US expansion

The Dublin-based frozen yogurt start-up Pow-Cow is raising €1 million for a US expansion. The company, which produces a low-calorie, high-protein frozen yogurt, plans to open an office stateside from its investment round.

Niall Moloney, founder of Pow-Cow, said the company was making inroads in the US having secured a commitment from a retailer that operates 300 stores in the north-east.
