Harney joins fresh funding round for software firm Diona

Several well-known investors back Dublin-based firm

Software firm Diona has added over €3 million in fresh funding from investors including former tánaiste Mary Harney and several high net worth backers.

Company filings show it added €3.06 million just before Christmas through a share allotment, with participants including Harney, wealth fund businessman Kevin Warren, Moya Coulson, wife of Ardagh boss Paul Coulson, former INM director Terry Buckley and insurance businessman Gary Owens, who chairs Diona.
