Fáilte Ireland hopes to reap golf dividend with big convention

The tourism body is seeking a venue in which to host the third biennial Golf Ireland Convention in May

The convention was previously hosted at Rosapenna Hotel and Golf Resort in Co Donegal.

Fáilte Ireland is aiming to drum up business from the lucrative golf tourism sector by hosting a major convention this summer.

The tourism promotion body will host the third biennial Golf Ireland Convention in May with a view to attracting visitors from around the world while also offering Irish businesses a chance to sell to tour operators.
