Doctors report being stonewalled on abortion services

Funding was sought last January by the doctors’ representative group to help fund termination of pregnancy (TOP) training for doctors, as many doctors have had little experience of providing this service

The HSE has failed to provide funding to facilitate the “safe implementation of termination of pregnancy” services, the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) has warned.

Funding was sought last January by the doctors’ representative group to help fund termination of pregnancy (TOP) training for doctors, as many doctors have had little experience of providing this service.
