Dalata boss McCann among investors in Ufurnish funding round
Online home furnishings marketplace plans to use £1.8m cash injection to build brand awareness
The Irish-founded start-up Ufurnish, an online home furniture marketplace, has sealed a £1.8 million funding round.
Established by Deirdre McGettrick and Ray Wright, the firm has secured the money from investors including Pat McCann, chief executive of the Dalata Hotel Group.
Anthony Ward, a commodities trader well known in the cocoa market, along with Michael Holland and Craig Wilson, the founders of fintech firm Financial Express, have invested in the London-based firm.
