Wooden relics from Titanic’s sister ship go up for auction

The intricately carved oak panelling from two luxurious state rooms on HMHS (His Majesty’s Hospital Ship) Britannic, sister ship to the less fortunate RMS Titanic, will take centre stage at a two-day auction to be held at the Heritage Hotel in Killenard in Co Laois this Wednesday and Thursday, May 1 and 2.
