A quarter of a century ago, Dawson Stelfox made history as the first Irish climber to scale Everest. Today, he’s busy regenerating the heart of his home city of Belfast

Dawson Stelfox has a couple of things to thank his grandfather for, and they’ve proved to be pivotal in both his professional and personal life. We are sitting in the Belfast offices of Consarc, the architecture and design group he chairs, talking about his career path and his mountaineering achievements.
