With vacancy rates in Dublin’s prime city centre office areas reportedly down to just 3 per cent, accommodation on the fringes is now much in demand by both occupiers and investors alike.

The sale of the Steelworks on Foley Street is a case in point, where agents TWM recently sold Block B for €2.77 million.

The building had been vacant since construction in 2007. However, Ollie Lyons of TWM, who handled the sale on behalf of receiver Kieran Wallace of KPMG, highlighted the strong interest for the building.
