Scheming afoot as new homes come thick and fast

The drive to catch up with demand for new housing continues apace this year, with more than 100 new homesschemes launching in the greater Dublin area within the next 12 weeks or so. Coming from a low base, our annual H1 development listings has grown year on year as the market has picked up, encouraged by market confidence, growing institutional investment, particularly in the residential market, more progressive housing policy changings and planning tweaks that have turned unviable projects into viable developments. All this, despite the challenges and uncertainty of geopolitical events, including Brexit, fiscal policy and rising labour costs and shortages.
