The Sandyford Business District (SBD) in south Dublin is expected to become a key driver in Dublin’s ambition to become one of the world’s leading smart cities following Sandyford’s designation as a “smart region”. As a result of the combination of smart technology and smart buildings planned for the district, employment is expected to increase by 10,000 to 25,000 over the coming years.
