Population rise fuels demand for new homes in M1 corridor

A combination of a rising population living near an affordable housing market is expected to generate more housing development in the M1 corridor in Meath and Louth in the coming years.

Last year, homebuyers spent €433 million buying about 2,000 homes ranging from apartments to one-off residences in towns and communities close to the M1, according to research on the Property Price Register undertaken by Peter Garrigan of CBRE.
