Dear Minister Coveney,

The scale of the crisis in the housing sector must seem daunting as you settle into your new role. Perhaps you already feel a little homesick for the Department of Agriculture.

Whether it’s social housing, the rented sector or owner-occupied housing, there simply aren’t enough homes to go around, and all eyes are on you to make new housing appear.
