An increased speed to market – within months of planning permission being granted – is proving a strong alternative to redevelopment

With demand for office space in Dublin set to boost rents to new record levels, and with Brexit expected to further boost demand, investors have been actively acquiring old office buildings which can be quickly refurbished to meet demand.

Of the 29 major office schemes currently under construction, five are refurbishment projects according to Marie Hunt of CBRE.
