More developments are on the market, but many are build-to-rent apartments, and first-time buyers are increasingly being squeezed out into the commuter belt
The flurry of new homes development continues apace with nearly 50 per cent more launches under way and planned for Dublin and the surrounding counties between now and the end of the year compared to our annual autumn listings last year.
It looks busy, it feels busier and, according to the CSO’s latest property price index, house prices have levelled off, giving buyers some breathing space. Yet, all may not be as it seems.
