House prices to rise 7% in capital this year

JLL says while rent rises are also expected over next few years, they will increase at a slower rate as economic conditions return to normal

JLL Ireland has forecast that Dublin residential prices will increase by 7 per cent in 2021.

This is a strong price prediction, but CSO data released last week positively mirrors our assumptions and shows that prices have risen by 3.5 per cent in the first four months of the year. This aligns with the strong forecasts we are expecting by year end.
