House price inflation cools as supply picks up

A report from Daft.ie shows that more properties, 8,200, were put up for sale in May than in any single month since early 2008

House prices rose at an annual rate of 3.7 per cent in the second quarter of this year, the slowest since late 2013, according to the latest figures from property website Daft.ie. Its house price report also shows signs thatimproved supply is beginning to slow the rate of increase.
