Some 33 years ago, a young couple with a five-month-old daughter bought a small dormer bungalow on a quiet leafy avenue a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Dundalk. Since then, Rushfield on Mount Avenue in the Co Louth town, has expanded to four times its original size and now spans a substantial 292 square metres.
