During their time in London, Gerard Dillon and George Campbell were much into music, jamming in Dillon’s flat and performing occasional parts in the chorus of the D’Oyly Carte Company, hence Dillon’s Luton Girl’s Choir, due to be sold at Sotheby’s, 46×56 centimetres (£15,000-£20,000).
