Demand for ‘big box’ warehousing likely to continue

A wide range of companies are opting for larger facilities as market grows, despite pressure to rezone industrial land

This has definitely been the year of the ‘big box’ warehouse in Dublin, with a host of occupiers choosing much larger facilities than was prevalent in previous years. While facilities of 9,300 square metres (100,000 square feet) or more were typically the preserve of international logistics and pharma companies, this year saw a wide range of company types opting for these sizes.
