A fall in the number of residential schemes under construction or seeking planning permission in the autumn of this year is a worrying trend, according to the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI).

Latest figures from the SCSI for the third quarter of the year showed that planning permission was granted for only 13 residential schemes of 25 or more units in the Dublin region. That figure represents a fall of almost 60 ...
