Commercial sales on track for second biggest year on record
A busy third quarter saw €316 million worth of transactions, bringing the total so far this year to €3.2 billion
Investment activity in the Irish commercial property market looks set to exceed expectations this year. The number of offices, retail, industrial and apartment blocks sold could exceed €4 billion according to both Patricia Ward of Cushman & Wakefield and Hannah Dwyer of JLL.
Not alone would that put 2016 ahead of the €3.4 billion which was sold in 2015, but it would also see 2016 achieve the second highest ever annual level of sales after 2014’s €4.5 billion record.
