Brexit uncertainty is damaging the Irish real estate market

Talk of a short-term bounce in some housing sectors has generally been overstated, and the spectre of a no-deal Brexit is haunting the industry, writes Hannah Dwyer

The impact that Brexit will have on Irish real estate is varied and largely dependent on the type of deal agreed. A hard or a ‘no deal’ Brexit is likely to cause the greatest level of upset; a soft Brexit or for Brexit not to happen at all would be far better scenarios.
