As Dublin’s commuter belt benefits from the ripple effect to the capital’s expansion, one of its fastest-growing towns is set for a major retail boost. High Street Ashbourne, one of the commuter belt’s main shopping centres, is due for a relaunch in 2018.

The Meath scheme already attracts 2.5 million shoppers annually, and an estimated €40 million annual consumer and convenience spend within a five-minute driving time.
