Delivering affordable apartments remains a “huge challenge”, despite an ease in the cost to build medium-rise apartments in the greater Dublin area, according to a new report.
The report, by the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI), assessed the construction costs associated with more than 9,400 apartment units within the greater Dublin area across 49 schemes.
