Government and the housing industry working together can provide the funding, expertise and conditions to build homes for our growing population
This year has forced enormous change in every industry and community. From a home building/community creation perspective, the sector is beating the odds, literally ‘digging in’ to complete in excess of 18,000 homes.
It‘s a great achievement under the circumstances, but it is less than half the number of homes required annually. The challenge now relates to new commencements and uncertainty on policy, planning, viability and affordability.
