Mandatory gender pay gap reporting is already a legal requirement in many jurisdictions and soon it will be in Ireland too.

The most recent Irish draft legislation on the issue, the Gender Pay Gap Information Bill 2019 (Bill), was first published in April 2019, but lapsed in early 2020 with the dissolution of the Dáil, before being returned to the order paper in late 2020.
