Acquisitions mean Zeus now on track to reach €500m revenue target by 2023

The company is focusing its designs on direct-to-consumer retailing and, with the acquisition of two British firms among others, is a strong competitor in the Irish, British and European markets

Keith Ockenden had two main priorities when he was appointed chief executive of Zeus in August 2020: preserve the DNA of the 20-year-old packaging firm while simultaneously growing the company’s footprint and revenues around Europe.

Last week, Zeus, which was founded by Brian O’Sullivan, announced the purchase of two British packaging businesses for more than €25 million, and said it had added €75 million in revenue through acquisitions in the past nine months.
