Regina Doherty is one of the most outspoken ministers in the current cabinet. That is quite something; after all, the cabinet includes Shane Ross and Leo Varadkar. Recently, Doherty described herself on Twitter as “the owner of a big mouth that sometimes gets a headstart on my brain”. But it is this directness which makes her one of the most interesting members of government.
