An Independent candidate who campaigned on the future of Waterford hospital looks set to top the poll in the city.

Tallies suggest the Green Party looks likely to take at least one seat as the party’s candidates in Waterford’s three Metropolitan Districts are polling very strongly – Jody Power in Waterford City East, Marc Ó Cathasaigh in Tramore-Waterford City West and Susan Gallagher in Waterford City South.
