Varadkar not against reforming Attorney General’s role ‘in principle’

Leo Varadkar has said he is open to reforming the Office of the Attorney General in response to a Labour Party proposal to increase transparency around the government’s legal advice.

The Taoiseach was speaking in the Dáil last week on the state’s legal strategy in relation to nursing home charges.
