Unions lobby Fianna Fáil to shelve bogus self-employment legislation

Unions are putting pressure on Fianna Fáil to drop a plan to fine employers involved in bogus self-employment.

It represents a rare case of unity between unions and bosses, as employers group Ibec also wants the measure withdrawn on the grounds that it would “criminalise employers”.
