Two-year delay for Stepaside Garda station

Department of Justice officials warned that Stepaside Garda station could take up to two years to reopen in a confidential memo written four months ago.

The reopening of the Garda station in Minister for Transport Shane Ross’s constituency was announced last June and re-announced by the government before Christmas, along with five other stations, on a pilot basis.
