The recommendations are weak, vague and timid. Is that good enough?

There was one, and only one point, really to bother with another banking inquiry. It was to prevent the people in charge repeating the mistakes again.

In this, the bank inquiry fails abysmally. Its recommendations are rushed, shallow, vague, short and timid. It is a let-down for the Irish and the European public.
