Tech giants warn ‘anti-US’ tax reforms will hit online SMEs

Amazon and Facebook have told the Irish government that EU tax reforms are targeting US firms and will ultimately harm small online retailers.

The government has been lobbied extensively by US internet giants over EU Vat reforms which they have previously argued could present a significant threat to foreign direct investment by e-commerce companies in Ireland.
