Two private companies were paid around €25 million last year to operate the government’s controversial JobPath scheme aimed at getting long-term unemployed people back to work.

The two companies, Seetec and Turas Nua, are paid registration fees for bringing people into the scheme and higher ‘job sustainment’ fees based on how long people are kept in employment.
