Alan Shatter has refused to rule out a political comeback after his Court of Appeal victory last week which further vindicated his actions while he was justice minister.

The court last week unanimously ruled that the former Fine Gael TD is entitled to declarations that critical opinions of him in the Guerin report into the handling of a garda whistleblower’s claims were in breach of fair procedures.
