Former justice minister Alan Shatter is in a dispute with Fine Gael over as much as €8,000 that his constituency organisation maintains he owes to the party.

Shatter, who lost his Dáil seat in last year’s general election, has told party members in Dublin Rathdown that his campaign was “sabotaged” by the party hierarchy.
