Unpublished evaluation warns that HSE proposal would not provide true universal healthcare

The Sláintecare plan has failed to propose a true universal healthcare system, according to an unpublished evaluation prepared for the HSE’s leadership team.

The expert evaluation concluded that “the report misses an opportunity to really move the health system towards ‘universal’ healthcare” and questioned the sequencing proposed in the Sláintecare plan.
