Public Services Cards issued to transition year students

The government has been issuing public services cards (PSCs) to all transition year students for the past year in an effort to distribute three million cards before the end of 2017.

The Department of Social Protection rolled out an initiative to issue cards to all TY students, who are mainly aged between 15 and 16, in September of last year following an earlier trial.
