Public Accounts Committee wants to grill HSBC

Britain’s largest bank, HSBC, will be invited to the Dáil’s most powerful committee to be grilled over concerns that it helped high-net-worth Irish citizens dodge tax.

The bank will be asked to attend alongside officials from the Revenue Commissioners, who will be compelled to attend the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
