The pro-life movement is considering fielding candidates at the next election, insisting it “won’t go away” but will continue to campaign against aspects of the forthcoming abortion laws.

Cora Sherlock of Love Both and the Save The Eighth campaign said the movement had suffered a major setback, but that there was “real commitment to stay united and work towards the day that there will be a restoration of pro-life laws”.
