‘Politics of division’ paying off for SF

Sinn Féin’s spirited attacks on Fine Gael over the government’s assorted health scandals have seen it rise to 18 per cent, its best Red C poll result in two years

Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald was accused of practising the “politics of division” by Minister for Health Simon Harris when she put down a motion of no confidence in him last Wednesday.

But the latest Sunday Business Post/Red C poll shows that the strategy appears to be working just fine for Sinn Féin, which is up by five points to 18 per cent.
