Phelan’s plans shelved for boundary dispute resolution between Waterford and Kilkenny

Minister of State John Paul Phelan has been forced to postpone his new plan for resolving town boundary disputes.

He has previously clashed with his party colleague, Senator Paudie Coffey, over plans to change the council boundary between Kilkenny and Waterford.

Phelan, who is Minister of State for Housing and Local Government, tried to come up with a new method of resolving the dispute.
