Noone eyes Dáil tilt in north Dublin at next election

Fine Gael senator Catherine Noone is seeking to run for the Dáil in north Dublin at the next general election, as the party looks to increase its number of female candidates.

Noone, the former chair of the Oireachtas Eighth Amendment Committee, confirmed that she would seek the Fine Gael nomination in Dublin Bay North, to run alongside Minister for Education Richard Bruton.
