US president Donald Trump is a danger to Ireland, the Minister for Finance, Michael Noonan, has said.

Trump’s policies on free trade and tax reform could impact Ireland, Noonan said, adding that an import tax in the US “would damage our prospects”. If the import tax does go through, Noonan believes it will be in a “modest, diluted form”.
